Today, I'm going to talk about Sweet Park, a new attraction in the Gangnam branch of the Shinsegae Department Store that I recently visited. This is a hot spot that dessert lovers should never miss. So, why don't you join me in a sweet world?
Why is it so popular?
More than 400,000 people visited in just eight days, so you can realize its popularity, right? It felt like everyone who loves dessert was gathered here. Especially popular stores are already out of stock from early afternoon! I waited in line before it was too late.
Let's reveal the purchase list!
I bought a total of six desserts. For the first time in Korea, we chose new desserts that stand out from foreign brands and ideas. Let me introduce them one by one!
Cover (Japanese Milfeuille brand):
This place is famous for its hand-made mille-feuille. When I got a waiting number and got a call, I went back and ordered it, but after waiting about 30 minutes, I was able to get it.
Pierre Marcolini Chocolate (Belgian Chocolate Brand):
It's chocolate made of the highest quality cacao, and the price of 30,000 won for six pieces was a bit burdensome, but it was worth a try if you're a chocolate lover.
Churonut (Churros specialty store):
It's a famous churros shop in Apgujeong, and I bought Churon, a special menu only sold here. The combination of churros and donuts made me curious.
Salt fish bun:
You can't forget the hot salt bungeoppang on social media! Full of butter flavor, this bungeoppang is really delicious when it's warm.
MILLEAN (Plan of Western Sang Patrice):
It is an authentic French dessert made by a Korean patissette recognized in Paris, France, with a soft texture and sweetness.
Chiffon acidity (mocha flavor):
With the combination of chiffon cake and sandwich, the soft and moist taste was appealing. However, I didn't really like the mocha flavor, so I gave it to my friends.
Price, More Than That
To be honest, some desserts were a little overwhelming. However, the satisfaction from high quality desserts was well worth more than that. It was a great choice to buy as a gift or enjoy it on a special day.

오늘은 제가 최근에 다녀온 신세계 백화점 강남점의 새로운 명소, 스위트 파크에 대해 이야기해보려고 해요. 이곳은 디저트를 사랑하는 사람이라면 절대 놓쳐서는 안 될 핫플레이스랍니다. 그럼, 저와 함께 달콤한 세계로 떠나볼까요?
왜 이렇게 인기가 많을까?
개장 후 단 8일 만에 무려 40만 명이 넘는 사람들이 방문했다고 하니, 그 인기를 실감할 수 있겠죠? 디저트를 좋아하는 사람들이 모두 이곳에 모인 듯한 느낌이었답니다. 특히 인기 많은 매장들은 이른 오후부터 이미 품절 사태! 저도 더 늦기 전에 얼른 줄을 서서 기다렸어요.
구매 리스트 공개!
저는 총 여섯 가지 디저트를 구매했어요. 한국에서는 처음으로 선보이는 외국 브랜드와 아이디어가 돋보이는 신상 디저트 위주로 골라봤답니다. 지금부터 하나씩 소개해드릴게요!
가리게 (일본 밀푀유 브랜드):
이곳은 하나하나 수작업으로 만들어지는 밀푀유가 유명해요. 웨이팅 번호를 받고 연락이 오면 다시 가서 주문하는 방식이었는데, 약 30분 정도 기다린 끝에 손에 넣을 수 있었어요.
피에르 마르콜리니 초콜릿 (벨기에 초콜릿 브랜드):
최고 품질의 카카오로 만든 초콜릿으로, 여섯 조각에 3만 원이라는 가격이 조금 부담스러웠지만, 초콜릿 애호가라면 한 번쯤 도전해볼 만한 가치가 있었어요.
츄로넛 (추러스 전문매장):
압구정에서 유명한 추러스 가게로, 이곳에서만 파는 특별한 메뉴인 '츄론'을 구매했어요. 추러스와 도넛의 조합이라니, 궁금증을 자아내더라고요.
소금 붕어빵:
SNS에서 핫한 소금 붕어빵도 빼놓을 수 없죠! 버터 향이 가득한 이 붕어빵은 따뜻할 때 먹으면 정말 맛있어요.
밀레앙 (서용상파티셰의 플랑):
프랑스 파리에서 인정받은 한국인 파티셰가 만든 정통 프랑스 디저트로, 부드러운 식감과 달콤함이 일품이었어요.
시폰 산도 (모카맛):
시폰 케이크와 샌드위치의 조합으로, 부드럽고 촉촉한 맛이 매력적이었어요. 다만, 모카 맛을 별로 좋아하지 않아서 친구들에게 양보했답니다.
가격, 그 이상의 가치
솔직히 말하자면, 몇몇 디저트는 가격이 조금 부담스럽기도 했어요. 하지만 고퀄리티의 디저트를 통해 얻는 만족감은 그 이상의 가치를 충분히 느낄 수 있었답니다. 선물용으로 구매하거나 특별한 날에 즐기기에는 더없이 좋은 선택이었어요.
